BREAKING - Louisiana granted diploma privilege for law graduates, exactly one week after canceling the in-person July bar exam.

To qualify for diploma privilege, candidates must have already registered for the state’s July or October bar exams. They must also meet character and fitness requirements, and have graduated from an ABA-accredited law school no earlier than December 2019.

In other news, Ohio and New Hampshire announced Wednesday that September in-person bar exams will be cancelled, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The jurisdictions plan to offer the National Conference of Bar Examiners’ remote test, in October.

Fazzio Law stands with the 2020 law school graduates in supporting safe and equitable solutions to the bar exam.
