A lawyer in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with a history of sexual misconduct has been disbarred by the South Carolina Supreme Court.
The defendant was arrested for indecent exposure and later entered an Alford plea, under which a defendant does not admit guilt but acknowledges that prosecutors have enough evidence for a conviction. He was sentenced to three years of imprisonment, suspended to 12 months of probation and payment of $168.75 in court costs.
The Myrtle Beach Sun News reported on the decision over the Labor Day weekend.
