COVID-19 Relief Law - PPP Lenders Requiring No Prior Relationship
Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act ("CARES Act") authorized the EIDL and PPP programs, the following is a comprehensive list of all PPP lenders who accept non-existing customers. Please see our prior blog posts to learn more about each program. This list was updated 4/10, and Lenders are subject to change policies.
Status: All businesses can apply but it will accept applications in this order, first: single-owner businesses: sole proprietorships, S-Corps and LLCs then it will later expand to other businesses such as independent contractors, multi-owner business and non-profits.
Serves: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, New Mexico and Texas.
Status:Accepting PPP loan applications through its online portal, but has temporarily closed it to process current applications. Does not state you need to be a customer.
Serves: Doesn’t state a region requirement.
Status: Accepting PPP loan applications, giving existing customers priority.
Fifth Third Bank
Serves: Doesn’t specify location
Status: Processing PPP loan applications from current customers. Non-current customers will be processed later in April.
First National Bank (of Pennsylvania)
Serves: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Washington D.C., North Carolina and South Carolina
Status: Processing applications. Open to non-current customers within it’s servable area. Non-current customers must have an in-person appointment with a banker.
First Savings Bank
Serves: South Dakota, New Mexico, Nevada, Nebraska, Texas and Arizona.
Status: Accepting PPP loan applications. Does not state there is a restriction for only current customers.
Serves: Doesn’t state a specific region
Status Accepting PPP loan applications from all small business owners
Serves: Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
Status: Not yet accepting PPP loan applications. Does not say being an existing customer is required. Will give priority to businesses in under-served and rural markets, veteran-owned businesses, economically disadvantaged owners and businesses that are less than two years old.
Serves: Not region specific

East West Bank
Serves: 125 locations including in California, Georgia, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, Texas and Washington.
Status: Accepting applications. Existing business checking account customers will get priority.
Serves: Many locations across the US
Status: Taking PPP loan applications. Does not state you must already be a customer.
Serves: Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York
Status: Taking PPP loan applications from current customers and business owners in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
Seacoast Commerce Bank
Status: Partnered with Kabbage, Inc. and is accepting applications from all business owners
Serves: Minnesota, Florida, and Arizona,
Status: Currently accepting PPP loan applications, and does not appear to be restricting applicants to existing customers.
Serves: Does not specify region
Status: Accepting applications and not limiting customers
Serves: Over 25 states and Washington D.C.
Status: Accepting applicants. Does not state you need to be an existing customer.
Metro City Bank
Serves: Georgia, Alabama, Virginia, New Jersey, New York and Texas
Status: Accepting PPP loan applications. No restriction to existing customers.
Newtek Small Business Finance
Serves: Does not specify region
Status: Taking applications. Does not mention needing to be a current customer.
Serves: Pennsylvania, western New York and eastern Ohio
Status: Currently accepting loan applications. You do not need to be an existing customer but current customers will be given priority.
Pacific Western Bank
Serves: California. California, Denver, North Carolina.
Status: Accepting PPP loan applications. Doesn’t state you need to be a current customer.
Serves: Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky
Status: Accepting PPP loan applications both from existing and new customers. Will continue to do so while funds are available.
Quantum National Bank
Status: Does not state that you must be a current customer to apply
United Business Bank
Serves: California, Colorado, New Mexico and Washington
Status: Accepting PPP loan applications from existing business clients and non-customers.
Serves: California, Georgia and Texas.
Status: Accepting applications from all businesses in Texas, Southern California and Atlanta metro areas.
